In the past two months a team of students of The Hague University of Applied Sciences build a robot at our facility that automatically grades solar cells for solar panel production.

Sorting solar cells is a time-consuming step in the production process and these fragile objects requires delicate and accurate handling. Automation results in a much more controlled and efficient process.

Ultimately our goal at GTM is to build a fully automated solar panel production line.
